About this activity

Toronto's Caribbean Carnival is a famous annual cultural festival in North America. People in the Caribbean region dress up in festive costumes, sing and dance, and the atmosphere is very lively. The gorgeous costumes and the impact of heavy metal music strongly render Toronto.

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival has a history of 47 years. It has grown from a three-day event in 1967 to a three-week event today. It has become the largest cultural festival in North America, attracting more than one million people from all over the world every year.

The Grand Parade is the climax of the Caribbean Carnival. The parade team gathers at the Canadian National Exhibition on the shore of Lake Ontario, marches along Lake Shore Blvd. The total length is 3.5 kilometers, and the two sides are crowded with spectators. The parade team exudes the primitive vitality of the indigenous people of the Caribbean region.
