Nutmeg Soccer creates inclusive and safe spaces for children to learn, play football and have fun. All programs are free to ensure no child is left behind.

Nutmeg Soccer is seeking candidates to join our volunteer Board/Management/Coaching organisation; now is the perfect time to join, providing expertise and advice to the organisation’s strategic priorities and day-to-day operations

Optional Volunteer Activities

Responsibilities: Work with other assistant coaches and head coach to conduct weekly football and education sessions (no football experience required!)

 

Project Coordinator

Responsibilities: Coordinate overall program logistics and manage communications with key stakeholders (coaches, parents, etc.); Conference Manager Support Team

 

Meeting Manager

Responsibilities: Support weekly meetings and work with the project coordinator to improve logistics

 

Behind the scenes volunteers

Responsibilities: We have many projects that require volunteer support, with key opportunities including project logistics and development of weekly meeting plans

 

Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Oversee financial matters for the Board; provide monthly financial updates; advise the Board on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting; responsible for banking, expense reporting, bookkeeping and record keeping; attend monthly Board meetings

Volunteer Requirements

1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

2. Solid management capabilities

3. Effective time management skills to meet the requirements of the role

4. Be committed to the mission and vision of Nutmeg Soccer.

5. Good communication and collaboration skills

Age requirement: 16 years and above

Location: Toronto area, specific location depends on the situation
