• Support Us: Visit the VIP Volunteer page to make a tax-deductible donation to help support ElderHelpers.org. Remember, you are donating your time, but we also greatly need your financial support to keep the service running. Your donation will go toward technology, administration, compliance, advertising, insurance, and legal fees.

• Background Check: Get a background check through our partner IntelliCorp. A clean background check will increase the trust others have in you. To reduce additional administrative costs, we only accept background checks processed through our portal. Use the password "elderhelpers" to start a background check.

• Be gentle and kind to others: Be kind and gentle in all situations. It is better to say "no" politely than to force yourself to accept unreasonable requests. When you agree to help, try to smile as much as possible to show that you really want to help, which will make the other person feel warm and at ease.

• Do not ask for money: The reputation of the Elder Helpers program relies on your honesty and kindness. Volunteers are not allowed to charge any fees, not even donations for the program. You can support the Elder Helpers program by telling people about our donation page and encouraging regular donations.
