This event was hosted by the OTLF Outstanding Youth Leaders Foundation, which was registered in 2017. OTLF's goal is to bring young people into dialogue with Canada's mainstream elites and leaders through social charity activities.
Guest introduction-Bradly G. Wouters
Wouters is a Canadian radiation oncologist and biomedical engineer who currently serves as Chief Scientist and Executive Vice President of the Ontario Cancer Institute, Canada. He is a senior professor at the University of Toronto , a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and has received multiple honors and awards, including an honorary doctorate of science from McGarry University, the Canadian Oncology Society's Scientist of the Year Award, etc.
Professor Wouters has made outstanding contributions in the fields of oncology, radiation biology and biomedical engineering , especially in the field of tumor radiotherapy. His research involves tumor biology, tumor microenvironment, cancer stem cells, tumor immunology, etc., aiming to improve the effectiveness of cancer treatment and reduce the side effects of treatment. His research also includes computational modeling of tumor treatment and the application of radioactive isotopes.
As an outstanding scientist and leader , he managed up to 500 people . Professor Wouters is committed to promoting innovation and advancement in cancer research and treatment. His work has important implications for the treatment and improvement of survival rates of cancer patients.
