The Hatton Youth Voice Committee is committed to providing a platform for young people aged 12-17 in the Hatton area to speak out! Through activities, articles and publicity, young people have the opportunity to participate in community affairs. Come and join us and create your own youth voice!
As a project leader for the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) , you will lead a small group of youth to identify and solve community problems ! You will propose and implement a project that promotes teamwork, innovation, and leadership development. This is a great opportunity to help you improve your project management and leadership skills!
Project Highlights
• Teamwork Problem Solving: Work with small groups to identify and solve real problems in the community, developing collaboration, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Specialization opportunities: Choose a specialization direction based on your interests and strengths to improve your personal skills.
• Project Proposal System: During the recruitment period, members can propose their own project ideas, and the team will vote to select 2-3 projects for implementation to ensure that the projects are member-led and in line with the team's interests.

Project Responsibilities
• Project planning and task allocation
• Ensure successful completion of the project
• Cultivate the team's critical thinking and innovation capabilities
Functions and Responsibilities (Executive Level):
Project Leader (2-4 persons): Propose and lead a community project, lead the team in planning and execution, and ensure the success of the project.
Deputy Project Leaders (2-4 persons): Assists the project leader, helps manage the team and ensures successful completion of tasks.
Media and Marketing Officers (1-2 persons): Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing social media and promotional materials.
External Relations and Logistics Officers (1-2 persons): Responsible for outreach and logistics of events and projects, building partnerships and managing community relations.
Functions and responsibilities (ordinary members):
Project members: Contribute ideas and execute tasks within the project team to support the overall project goals. Members may choose to specialize in communications, marketing, event planning, or other areas.
Event Schedule
Event time: October 15, 2024 (Tuesday)
Until January 12, 2025 (Sunday)
Time: Weekdays: Daytime & Evening, Weekends: Daytime & Evening
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week
Activity form: Online remote participation
Suitable for : Teenagers aged 10 and above
Event time: We meet online every Tuesday afternoon from 5:30-6:30 !
Application Process:
We want you to demonstrate your creativity and planning skills through a comprehensive application process, which will ask you to answer short questions to demonstrate your suitability for the chosen role.
Application Deadline:
The initial application deadline is October 31st , and we will review applications on a rolling basis after that, so it is recommended to submit as early as possible !
