Welcome to join our application summit volunteer team

WSSC & UFORSE will jointly host the 2023-2024 University Application Summit. We will invite teachers with top backgrounds to be lecturers. They come from the Top 30 prestigious schools in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, etc. , to give you detailed interpretations of business, engineering, computer, medicine and other majors , so as to prepare students who are preparing to apply for universities this year. The classmates escorted them. We have also invited a teacher who previously worked at the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto and is also a judge of the British Lions Business Competition . He will provide students with Rotman advice on choosing a major . In addition, there will be two outstanding student representatives from the British Lions who will tell everyone about their growth path. At the end of the meeting, we also have guests sharing Q&A , and students can find teachers to answer questions one-on-one.

From small application lectures with dozens of people,

After continuous development and accumulation year after year,

It has gradually transformed into a large-scale seminar summit attracting more than 300 students and parents every year .

Volunteer information and requirements

Volunteer hours:

Toronto time, October 28, 2023, Saturday, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Volunteer location:

On the main campus of the University of Toronto

Volunteer Responsibilities:

1. Campus Partners

Each high school can send up to two students to be responsible for publicity and registration at the school , confirm the number of applicants and information, and maintain close contact with club staff to ensure that students participating in the lectures receive accurate time and location information. On the day of the event, the campus ambassador needs to be present to assist the registered students of the school and ensure that they successfully participate in the event. Campus ambassadors will receive volunteer hours. In addition to the time on October 28, each time a student is successfully recruited to attend the lecture, they will receive an additional volunteer hour.

Volunteer hours : Arrival time on October 28th + additional volunteer hours obtained by recruiting students

Number limit: Each school has a maximum of 2 campus ambassadors, and the overall number is unlimited

2. Site guidance and cleaning

Guide students participating in the day's activities to find the venue, and assist in completing all cleanup work at the end of the lecture to ensure that the venue is tidy.

3. Registration reception

Responsible for on-site participant registration and reception on the day of the event, and assist campus partners in verifying the information of students participating in the event.

4. Photography/Videography

To track/record the entire college application lecture process, participants need to bring their own SLR cameras/video cameras and submit all content to the volunteer leader. Participants who perform well will receive volunteer hours.
