【Yinshi Volunteers】Recruitment of volunteers for Canada's first Spring Festival Fireworks Celebration

Fireworks carry the Chinese nation's thousand-year-old romantic sentiments, and also symbolize the warmth of family reunions and the strong flavor of the New Year. As the first Chinese New Year fireworks celebration in the history of Chinese Canadians , this event aims to bring unforgettable holiday memories to Chinese compatriots through unique and creative links , while showing the rich charm and far-reaching influence of Chinese culture to the mainstream society .
The celebration will officially kick off at 12 noon on January 25, 2025 , and a wonderful Spring Festival fireworks show will be staged over Toronto City Hall at 10 pm that night. This is the first time in Canadian history that a fireworks-themed Spring Festival celebration will be held at the landmark square of Toronto City Hall. This event is not only an international event that showcases the unique charm of Chinese culture, but also fully reflects the tolerance and inclusive spirit of Canada's multiculturalism!

HAPPY NEW YEAR
1. Large-scale ice performances will also include very creative ice performances with Chinese elements!
2. Chinese style DJ electronic music : A famous electronic music DJ will create an electronic music theme song for this event!
3. Energetic dance : Young and energetic girls will bring everyone new Chinese style dance and dynamics!
4. Creative interactive and festival-themed Hanfu disco flash mob performances : Hanfu enthusiasts are welcome to sign up and join!
5. Spring Festival Lanterns! Large Lanterns!
6. At 10:00 a.m., a fireworks show will be held to celebrate the Year of the Snake!
2Volunteer Recruitment
HAPPY NEW YEAR
As the co-organizer of this event, Yingshi Education is now recruiting 35-40 volunteers . Applicants must be over 16 years old , and those with certain volunteer service experience will be given priority. If you have a high level of mental maturity and experience in organizing events, you will also have the opportunity to serve as a Leader (4-5 people). In addition to the volunteer hours, the Leader may also receive additional compensation. Everyone is welcome to apply.
Volunteer service hours and benefits:
Morning shift: 8am to 4pm, Saturday, January 25th, Toronto time , providing hot packs, a light meal and drinking water.
Evening shift: Saturday, January 25th, 4pm to 12am Toronto time , providing hot packs, a light meal and drinking water.
Volunteer location: Toronto City Hall, group training on the day.
Deadline for volunteer registration: Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 8:00pm
Job responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Maintaining order and safety at the skating rink

Assist in maintaining order and safety management at the market

Directing the flow of people to the market tents

Market interactive workshop leads activities

Assist in daily operation of the stall

Tent setting up (some physical strength required)

Tent layout and booth decoration

Collaborative lifting of heavy or large objects

Dismantling and storage of materials after the event
The event organizer will provide all participants with proof of volunteer service hours. Friends who are enthusiastic about charity and have a strong sense of responsibility are welcome to join!
