The goal of YEF is to connect a new generation of business talents in the context of globalized business, in North American and Asian environments, to help them better integrate into the multicultural business society, and to promote understanding of business and culture among young people in Asia and North America. , eliminate cooperation barriers caused by differences in business culture, and enhance young people's enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and innovation. In cross-cultural business, young entrepreneurs in North America and Asia often face multiple challenges. Differences in business culture affect cooperation and development, requiring more communication to improve consensus.
In addition, the lack of links to platforms and resources reduces their opportunities for win-win business cooperation. OTLF recognizes these barriers and provides solutions by providing Asian and non-Asian students with diverse business cultural understanding and more social platforms.
The focus of this year’s forum is Canada’s potential to establish itself in the electric vehicle industry . Currently, U.S. automaker Tesla leads the field, while China has witnessed the rapid rise of numerous electric vehicle manufacturers.
Leveraging Canada's world-class technical research capabilities and excellent talent pool, YEF 2023-2024 aims to explore whether electric vehicles can become a new growth industry in Canada.
