What is your university application experience like in British Lions? Is there a teacher who particularly impressed you?

I signed up for the British Lions University application package. I went abroad relatively late and I was in a public school. Relatively speaking, the school’s support for the application is not as strong as that of Chinese private schools. I also have the kind of personality that I don’t want to leave any regrets. British Lions I have been a volunteer since I first came here, and I am quite familiar with all the teachers. I also feel like a big family, and the teachers are very strong, so I went along with the flow and got involved.

I think the teachers of British Lions have their own styles. For example, my favorite teacher T is a very gentle person. My extroverted personality can be easily stimulated at this time, and brainstorm will go smoothly. A relatively strong teacher may not be suitable for me. There is no good or bad teacher, only suitable or not.

What part of the college application is more challenging? Where do you think your understanding of college applications comes from?

I think the university application, whether it is the teachers, or the experience and contacts I have gained in the British Lions, although I am not very good now, but lacking any big or small nodes, I can’t do it to this extent. The most challenging thing is the anxiety of keeping pace with the school test and ISU in various 500words800words and subsequent video interviews.

I may really have a lot of information about university applications. First, I know a lot of people, and there are plenty of sources of information. Second, I have a personality that likes to communicate, and I think it is very important to take the initiative to approach people. The third is that I often go to lectures, whether online or offline, because I firmly believe in a truth that methods are more important than hard work. Listening to what you say is better than reading ten years of books. Fourth, I live in the school teacher's home, and I understand a lot when chatting. Fifth, because I personally prefer to sum up experience and share it. In the process, I will also deepen my understanding a lot.

Could you tell us about your experience as a British Lions volunteer? everyone wants to know

Of course, when I first went abroad, I was in a hurry to fill up forty hours. I unexpectedly discovered the British Lion Volunteer, a platform for posting volunteer information. Later, I began to pursue high quality and time cycle instead of hours, so I joined UVA through an interview, which is the platform responsible for collecting volunteer activities and publishing them. I learned a lot of useful communication management experience from the very responsible and conscientious RC senior sister. The CTC live broadcast platform is a highlight of my high school career. I have met too many interesting friends and excellent seniors and sisters here, and they have also become important guides and encouragement companions on my way to apply for college. Later, I was gradually promoted to VP, and my work was more inclined to the management level. Although I couldn't take care of it because of my busy studies, I did benefit a lot. In WSSC, I joined the event department and was responsible for the publicity of case comp. The ladies and sisters of Yingshi RM also helped me a lot. In addition, brother John and sister Feifei gave me support and help, allowing me to join the marketing department to improve my ability.

What do you think are the bright spots in your life or study?

As far as my personal background is concerned, I went to Vietnam as a teaching volunteer alone, because I was one year younger than my peers when I skipped grades. I was lucky enough to join the Student Council and continue to participate in organizing school activities, CTC platform leader, UVA, WSSC long-term activities, long-term municipal government volunteers , domestic bank intern, British lion marketing intern. In fact, it is still a bit lacking, because of the heavy pressure in the country, and going abroad in the second half of the eleventh grade, there is still a limit to what can be done in one year. But I went to all the interviews I could, and I had no regrets.

For you who are so outstanding now, what experience can you share with your juniors?

For friends in tenth and eleventh grades, I would like to suggest, hurry up, get to know more people, explore yourself, clarify what you want, devote yourself to activities, don’t let go of every message, be grateful and strive for more . In fact, sometimes the pain is so painful, but looking back, it is calm.

For everyone in the twelfth grade, the main event has basically come to an end now. Waiting for the offer to be anxious and impatient may wait for the final voice to turn it into carnival or sadness, but I hope we can all find a balance in this battle, no matter what the result is Also understand that those stark dawns and those tired eyes that are open all day and night are definitely not in vain. Take good care of what you can grasp now is enough, there is no shortage of sunshine, and opportunities are everywhere. I say it to myself, and I also say it to you who may have the same complicated emotions.
