Founded in 2017, the British Lions Volunteer Association is one of the three major platforms under the British Lions Education Group to cultivate high school leadership and is committed to helping Canadian Chinese high school students meet the volunteer hour requirements for high school graduation.

The Lions Volunteer Association won
About 30 volunteer opportunities,
Total volunteer hours up to 2800 hours
Ensure that students receive an average of 4-10 hours of volunteer reward time each time .

Q : Hello Nancy, can you introduce the Volunteer Association first~~
Nancy : The British Lions Volunteer Association is one of the three major platforms under the British Lions Education Group to cultivate leadership for high school students. We are mainly committed to helping Canadian Chinese high school students meet the demand for volunteer hours after high school graduation~
Q : In which area do you think people have learned more?
Nancy : It is a process of mutual learning. It also greatly improves leadership and teamwork. Each of our departments has two persons in charge. They are really more attentive than me. Some classmates will take the initiative to communicate with me some ways to improve our work efficiency. This not only exercises their own leadership and organizational skills, but also allows me to learn from them. Arrive a lot. Of course, we still have a lot of places to improve and reorganize.
Q : Many students are very interested in the Volunteer Association. What kind of partners do you all need?
Nancy : Those with a strong sense of responsibility and strong communication skills are the first choice . For such a small group of all high school students, only when everyone does their part on time can everyone effectively complete the task. Working in a team cannot avoid being with yourself. The team members communicate and cooperate to complete the task, so the necessary communication skills are necessary~
Q : Do you have any interview skills you can share with your friends?
Nancy : Be more enthusiastic, hahaha, say whatever you want to say, and show yourself as much as possible. It is more advantageous to students who have participated in many volunteers and organized volunteers!
