Uforse Volunteer Activities
Volunteer Requirements:
• Young people aged 16-29 who serve as positive role models to help At-risk and new immigrant children ages 6-15 reach their full potential.
• Be a role model and create fun connections with youth while participating in social and/or academic activities.
• Spend some time with the teen each week for a year, at least 10 hours per month.
• The teens you pair with will have similar hobbies and interests. They will also live near the volunteers. We will provide you with many opportunities for trips and activities to make your time here fun and relaxing.

A Greener Future is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to leading the way in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. By bringing together a community of volunteers and green stewards, our detailed data collection after each cleanup reveals the most common items found during trash pick-ups.

Umoja Orchestra is a Gainesville, Florida-based band whose music combines elements of Afrobeats, jazz, funk, Afro-Cuban music, and traditional African, Caribbean, and South American styles such as salsa and merengue. The band's instrumentation is very similar to that of bands such as Fela Kuti's Africa 70 and the Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra.
The program provides an opportunity for groups of students to gain leadership skills, work on projects of their own choosing, and gain valuable post-secondary experience and volunteer time.
