"Doors Open" is an open house event in Toronto that invites the public to explore the city's buildings that are normally closed to the public for free. The Open Day series also includes tours, lecture series, concerts and other special programs. Volunteers are recruited for each year's event and are open to all current high school students , with recruitment sessions including informative presentations and short interviews. As a volunteer partner of the municipal government, Yingshi Education hopes that students will actively participate in high-quality volunteer activities. Yingshi teachers will lead everyone in interview training and the implementation of specific activities!

NYSC relies on the dedication and commitment of over 300 volunteers each year to provide quality programs and services to seniors in our community. There are volunteer positions ranging from administration to friendly visits; from helping serve lunch to sharing a talent or skill. We have many opportunities to fit what you want to do. In fact, there are over 65 ways to make a difference in the lives of seniors by volunteering at the North York Senior Centre (NYSC).

Library Chess is a student-run organization whose mission is to provide free chess to everyone. We host tournaments every year and have programs every week throughout the year.
